I appreciate craft, comfort, simplicity and seamless functionality in all things. With experience in furniture, lighting and product design, I am excited by the challenge of bringing objects together in cohesive and thoughtful spaces. A result of my industrial design training, my process revolves around an analysis of function, often leading to simple solutions based on the inherent strengths of a material or composition. My interest in interior design comes from a desire to enhance the places that bring people together.
I was born and raised in San Francisco and spent four years studying Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design. I have served as graphic intern to Kit Hinrichs in San Francisco and developed the package and identity for a start-up in Boston. I spent a design-intensive summer studying furniture in Copenhagen and worked closely with Windsor furniture studio O&G in Warren, RI preparing for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2015. I now find myself back in the Bay Area working with Geremia Design on residential and commercial interior spaces. In my spare time, I am busy selecting finishes and fixtures for my family home, which is under renovation, and furnishing a friend's classic San Francisco Victorian. After a couple years, I plan to travel the world and let my interests guide what happens next.
This site includes work from my Foundations Studies and Industrial Design courses at RISD as well as some pieces I created at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco.
